SAT-7 KIDS Second Anniversary & Special Live Christmas Show

SAT-7 KIDS is the first ever 24-hour Christian channel dedicated to Arab children. It remains the only channel of its kind. This month the KIDS channel is celebrating its second anniversary. The team will be hosting a live Christmas special on December 17th with an on-air Christmas party.

Rita El Mounayer, the Lebanese-born Executive Director for Arabic Programming, is very encouraged by the channel’s responses, “Parents feel safe leaving their children in front of SAT-7 KIDS screen and grown-ups are requesting Bibles to read to their kids. People have written us to say their children are so hooked to the channel and will not allow their family to watch anything else!”

These live shows (this is the third that the KIDS channel has had) are very popular with young viewers who call in to talk to their favorite characters. The show will be fun, but is also designed to help children understand that Christmas isn’t just about fun and presents; rather, it is about the birth of God’s Son, the Savior of all mankind.

Here are some recent KIDS viewers’ comments:

Hi Dr. Nour, (host of the program “Noor Me” a music and teaching program with songs, puppets and teaching for children) I was watching your program regularly and every time you are talking about forgiveness, I was wondering how can I do that? One day I discovered that my husband was involved with another woman for 7 years and this woman was with him also before our marriage. So I heard you say that forgiveness is a decision and you have to ask God to help us. I took my decision to forgive him. Thank you for your program that help me a lot to do it. I forgive but don't forget from time to time, but the blessing of forgiveness is still deep inside my soul. Maybe my letter can help others to rebuild their house as I have the choice to divorce or to rebuild and I prefer the second one. Pray for me so I can FORGET. God bless you and your team.

Thanks, Rita, for caring. God bless you and all the team. Thanks for uploading my son's photo to the website. He loves your show and when he hears the music of the opening, he says “Rita, Rita!” Thanks for the story book you have sent. I learned a lot from it.

“Allo Allo” (“Hello, Hello,” an interactive call-in show) teaches us is to know more about God through questions and answers. The most wonderful thing that the program Laych Hayk (“Why is That?”) is presenting is the answers for the questions of the kids. Please send me music video clips.
