Joe Willey

30th June 2021

Joe Willey began his creative career as a packaging designer for a large American tool company. He left the corporate environment to work with nonprofits as a publications designer and art director. After years of writing advertising copy and newspaper articles, Joe blended visuals and content to become a creative director. During these years, he honed his storytelling skills by collaborating with photographers and writers and illustrating for newspapers and magazines.

After working in publications, Joe began telling the stories of nonprofit organizations and Christian ministries in the marketing and communications field. His work for SAT-7 raises awareness of the ministry’s mission and tells stories of changed lives.

Joe, his wife Kristen, and their four sons live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
