Being in prayer daily with God brings us closer to Him. However, it can be difficult for some believers to remain faithful when they feel their needs and prayer requests are unanswered. Laura from Lebanon shared with SAT-7 how she felt God was not answering her, and she grew desperate for Him to respond.
“I come from a different background and I have struggled with some challenges in life. I prayed every day at 4 a.m. to Jesus. One day, I came back from work and was exhausted. I wept and wept before Him asking why He doesn’t answer me if I have been praying diligently every day. Was it because I wasn’t Christian? I begged Him to answer,” Laura said. Fortunately, Laura didn’t give up.
“I then saw a beautiful figure with long hair and light filled my heart. He said, ‘You’re in my heart; I will never leave or forsake you.’ And he disappeared. I was overjoyed and for the following week, I spoke to my friends about how much He loves me,” Laura shared. Her faith brought her face-to-face with the Lord.
Laura continued to believe, trust, and share about her experience with the Lord. “A week later, He appeared in a dream and He reiterated His love for me and that He would never leave me. He told me that He sees everyone and hears all the cries of their hearts. He is merciful, compassionate, and holy.”
God answers our prayers even when we don’t realize it. Answered prayers do not often go the way we plan them in our minds, for God’s plan is much greater than we could ever imagine. Laura continued, “All glory to Him. I wanted to share this with you. There is nothing impossible for Him. He is my shepherd; I shall lack for nothing. Amen.”

In the past, I didn’t believe in God, but recently I was baptized. My mother-in-law is not a Christian but supported me in becoming a Christian. We were both watching your channel when you invited us for a prayer. And she lifted up her hands and prayed with you. I was very surprised and impressed. You are making really good and effective programs. The Lord works in places you cannot always see."
