My family is following SAT‑7 all the time. It is the channel for families! Everything is so great... None of the other channels can compare."

On this Silent Saturday, the day between the somber reflection of Good Friday and the triumphant celebration of Easter Sunday, I want to take a moment to pause and give thanks for what Christ has done for us. This day of waiting, of remembering the silence between death and resurrection, invites us to reflect on God’s incredible faithfulness. In doing so, we are reminded of the profound truth that our Savior did not just die; He died for us, for our salvation, for the world.
In the spirit of this sacred time, I want to share a message inspired by the ancient Jewish tradition of Dayenu, which means “It would have been enough.” This practice of expressing gratitude acknowledges the sufficiency of God’s provision in various moments. Each act of His love, grace, and mercy is more than we ever deserve. And yet, He goes beyond what we could ask or imagine.
As we consider the meaning of Silent Saturday and the days leading up to the resurrection, let us apply this reflection of gratitude to our work together in ministry. I’ll share a few thoughts, following the pattern of Dayenu, on how God’s work through SAT-7 has been more than enough for us, and how He continues to be faithful to the mission.
If Christ had only died on the cross, it would have been enough. His sacrifice was ultimate. The weight of all of humanity’s sin and brokenness was placed upon Him. There is no greater love than this. It is by His blood that we are reconciled with God, and because of His sacrifice, we are free. We could stop there, but God’s love didn’t stop with the cross. He called us into His mission, giving us the privilege to share the good news of His love through every broadcast, every word, and every prayer.
If God had only granted us one opportunity to share the Gospel through SAT-7, it would have been enough. For more than two decades, SAT-7 has been a beacon of hope, spreading the message of Jesus to millions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Every broadcast that reaches a home, every message of hope that is delivered, is an incredible gift. Through the medium of television and digital platforms, God has given us an avenue to impact lives in places where access to the Gospel is limited. It would have been enough to just share His love to one soul or to one community – but God’s reach through SAT-7 is vast, and it continues to expand daily.
If God had only given us the privilege to serve one day in ministry, it would have been enough. The partnership we share enables this work to continue. Your prayers, your financial support, your encouragement, and your belief in the mission of SAT-7 have made a tremendous difference. I am in awe of how God has worked through SAT-7 to expand His Kingdom in the MENA region. Each day we continue, we are more grateful for His provision and for the privilege to witness His hand at work.
If the resurrection of Jesus was the only event of Easter, it would have been enough. The resurrection gives us hope – hope that death does not have the final say, that God’s promises are true, and that the power of sin and death is forever broken. And yet, the resurrection is not just a past event; it is an ongoing reality that gives us the strength to continue in our work. Christ’s victory over death empowers us to press forward, to share the good news of new life, and to trust in His continued guidance.
As we wait in the silence of this Saturday, let us be reminded that God’s work is always more than enough. He has already done all that is necessary, and yet He continues to work through us, through SAT-7, and through the partnership we share with you. For this, I give thanks.
May this Silent Saturday be a moment of reflection and a time to prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter morning, when we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and the eternal hope we have in Him.
Thank you for your continued partnership in this ministry. We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness.
