I watch all of your live shows. Sometimes I watch for 4-5 hours a day. I owe the changes in my life to SAT‑7’s programs; I don’t have any other source, as I have no Christian friends and no Bible."

Amid the fear and chaos of war in the Middle East, SAT-7 KIDS is reaching out to young viewers with songs, dramas, and prayers to bring comfort and hope in the face of uncertainty.
“In times of war, fear, and uncertainty, SAT-7 KIDS becomes more than just a TV channel,” says Channel Manager Andrea El-Mounayer. “It becomes a refuge, a source of comfort, and a voice of reassurance for young hearts.
“Through the laughter, stories, and prayers shared on SAT-7 KIDS, we try to soothe their fears, giving them something to hold onto, something to believe in beyond the darkness around them.”
“Your Peace, Jesus, Is Our Joy”
“Let’s sing together, hand in hand, from all our lands,” sing the children from SAT-7 KIDS’ La Fiesta program in a powerful new music video recorded earlier this month on location in Lebanon. Salam (Peace) is a song of unity and a message of faith amid the uncertainty of war: “We raise our voices with Jesus. Your peace, Jesus, is our joy.”
While filming the music video, the children and crew could hear the sound of bombs exploding in the distance, but they were committed to the project and its purpose. “I was a bit startled at first, but we continued,” explained one young girl with remarkable maturity. “What we are doing here, we do it to glorify the Lord.”
Their parents were also eager to be involved. “SAT-7 KIDS is not just us,” said director Rawad Daou. “We are not the only ones believing in this message. All the parents present with us while we filmed their children believe in the same message, and that’s why they came with their children to record this clip.”
Rawad said they could sense God’s presence throughout the recording. “The voices of the children were anointed by the Holy Spirit,” he said. “It was a song of freedom for me. I am sure that this clip will bring liberation to many children hearing it.”
Drama Aids Understanding
SAT-7 KIDS is using short dramas to address questions children have about war and help them understand why conflicts happen, as well as giving them hope through the real-life stories of other young people who have lived through war and displacement.
The dramas are being aired as part of the new flagship program Jesus is Our Strength, a vibrant live show that has become a safe space for viewers as the Holy Land war has escalated. The program, presented by four young Arabs, gives children the chance to discuss their fears and emotions, have fun taking part in games and challenges, and grapple with the teachings of Jesus.
In one short drama featured in Jesus is our Strength, a mother talks to her young daughter about the time she experienced war as a child. “Do you know what your dad and I did when we got scared?” she said. “When we were afraid, we prayed and talked to Jesus, telling him how we felt… He helped us by giving us peace, and we felt safe.”
Strengthening Faith
Encouraging young viewers to turn to God in prayer runs throughout the SAT-7 KIDS schedule. The channel is showing impactful prayer segments both during and in between programs. These include prayers recorded in Egypt designed to support and encourage viewers; prayers recorded in Lebanon that address important topics such as fear, hope, and acceptance of differences; and eight short prayer clips that form part of an ongoing campaign called With You, Lord, Safety Abides.
Andrea wants viewers to develop a strong faith that survives and even thrives during difficult times. “The Bible teaches us that ‘faith is confidence in what we hope for,’” she explains. “This is exactly what we aim to instill in our young viewers – confidence that, with God’s help, they can face their challenges, dream big, and build a better future. Through our programs, we’re helping children not just entertain themselves but cultivate hope, resilience, and the understanding that God’s love will guide them through.”
