I’m from Morocco and I'm 19 years old. Though many people surround me, I have no one to talk to. I am so grateful to the Lord for your help and advice. God bless you."

With Easter being marked on the same day by the Eastern and Western churches this year – which happens on average only once every three or four years – SAT-7’s channels are celebrating the unity of Christ’s global Church as well as the resurrection of Jesus.
“By God’s providence, all of the Christian churches – Eastern and Western, Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant – are celebrating the glorious resurrection of Christ on the same day [this year],” says SAT-7 PARS producer Petros Mohseni. “In a world marked by division, confusion, and disconnection, we as the children of God are called to rise above barriers and proclaim the Good News of salvation with one voice, one faith, and one heart.”
SAT-7 PARS
“This rare and holy convergence stirred my heart to produce a special program,” says Petros. “One that not only marks this historic moment but also reflects a deeper and more spiritual message: the unity of the Church is faith in the risen Christ.”
The one-hour documentary produced by Petros tracks the different Easter celebrations of young Iranian Christians living in Cyprus. But the program “extends beyond simply showcasing the diversity of churches.” Petros wants viewers to gain a broader vision for what Jesus achieved for us through His death and resurrection. “This program seeks to draw the hearts of viewers to a fundamental truth,” he says. “The resurrection of Christ not only defeated death but also broke down the walls of separation.”
SAT-7 ARABIC
The new SAT-7 ARABIC Easter program The Certainty of the Resurrection features worship, discussion, and Bible readings from a team of Tunisian Christians gathered in a homely setting. Its 45-minute episodes allow for deep discovery, with the show’s four presenters covering a variety of enlightening topics. The first episode unpacks Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah’s coming; the second episode is all about the Cross of Christ and the meaning of salvation; while the third episode celebrates the certainty of the resurrection and its power to transform lives.
“Death has no power over Jesus, so it has no power over me,” reflects one of the presenters. “He came to the earth, reconciled God with humanity, and gave us eternal life.”
With plenty of Easter concerts being broadcast on SAT-7 ARABIC this year, viewers across the MENA will be able to celebrate wholeheartedly. These include the Good News Ministry Resurrection Concert, The Redeemer’s Love Concert, and an Easter celebration hosted by Lebanese musician Nizar Fares, who leads a ministry seeking to share the Gospel in the Arab World. In Jordan, the Sacred Heart Choir will lead another Easter celebration.
For those wanting to dig deeper into the events surrounding Holy Week, new podcast About the Resurrection, recorded in Egypt, will provide a real education. As the presenters follow Jesus’ footsteps through His final days, they will explore how the reality of the resurrection breathes new life into our walk with God.
SAT-7 KIDS and SAT-7 TÜRK
A fascinating mini-series for children, due to go out on SAT-7 KIDS this week, will help children engage with the Easter story in a new way. The School Easter Drama, which comprises seven five-minute episodes, tells the story of a curious boy who wants to know more about Jesus.
The series begins with the boy asking his family questions about the significance of Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Frustrated at their lack of answers, the boy retreats to his room, where he receives a mysterious invitation to an unusual school. The boy ends up in the first century and meets characters from the Easter story, with each episode chronicling a new day of the boy’s journey and focusing on one event from Holy Week. Packed with valuable life lessons, the show’s exciting cliffhangers prompt children to keep coming back and find out how the story ends.
Our Turkish channel will also be airing a special Easter episode. Broadcasting live on Easter Sunday, SAT-7 TÜRK will be filming at church services across the country, sharing a message of hope through praise music, teaching, and prayer.
