Thank you so much for this {SAT‑7} program that is filled with the Word of God. It is more than wonderful and the best that I watch. God bless you."

Knowing that many families in Lebanon are facing a season of pain and displacement after months of conflict in the country, compassion has driven the SAT-7 KIDS team out of the studio to demonstrate the love of Jesus this Christmas time.
“During the conflict, we felt God nudging us to step out of the studio and become more active on the ground,” says Andrea El-Mounayer, SAT-7 KIDS Channel Manager. Her team has done just that, going to displaced communities from south Lebanon to film two special episodes of Jesus Is Our Strength in which they bless two families with essential supplies, a Christmas celebration, and the gift of education for the new year. “As a team, we shared Christmas with them, bringing hope and showing God’s love in real, practical ways,” Andrea said.
LOVE IN ACTION
Andrea’s team went out into local communities, seeking meaningful connections with families, and witnessed the harsh impacts of this year’s war. “We came across displaced families from the south of Lebanon who had lost their homes,” she explains. “Although they had managed to find a place to stay temporarily, they were struggling to cover even their basic needs. On top of that, their children couldn’t afford to go to school.”
As the SAT-7 KIDS team started documenting their encounters, surprising things started to happen. “God showed up in ways we never expected,” Andrea said. “Amazing people came alongside us to help.” One of those was Nicolas Mouawad, a former SAT-7 presenter who has gone on to have a successful acting career in film and TV. Moved by what the team was doing, he generously provided a heating system for one of the displaced families to help them keep warm over the winter.
SAT-7 KIDS was also able to help two displaced siblings – Christelle (9) and Elia (5) – enroll in a local school in their new area. “A well-known local school offered to take the children in for as low as $400 per year – something far below their usual cost – as their way of contributing,” explained Andrea. Christelle and Elia have not been able to go to school since fleeing war in their village in southern Lebanon. Upon hearing the news that her children would be returning to school, their mother said, “This was the best feeling I have ever felt in my life.”
The SAT-7 KIDS team also organized a special Christmas celebration with the displaced families and gave them essential items like food packages, warm clothes, blankets, and hygiene items.
“Sometimes, love looks like stepping into someone’s story and walking alongside them through their struggles,” said Andrea. She quoted 1 John 3:18 as an inspiration for her and her team: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
MORE CHRISTMAS CONTENT
In addition, Jesus is our Strength has further festive plans. They will be showing a pilot episode of Luca Super Hero, a drama series due to be produced in 2025. December’s special episode follows young Rick as his imagination sweeps him into the biblical tale of the Three Wise Men on Christmas Eve. Narrated by super-storyteller Luca, this episode will dramatize the timeless Christmas story in a completely new way.
As if that were not enough, the show’s seven presenters have recorded an original Christmas song for their viewers, which is all about Jesus’ love, redemption, and peace.
Among other inspiring Christmas content over the coming days, a new three-part drama called Hush!, filmed in Egypt, tells the exciting story of a child who encounters mysterious statues in a crumbling old theatre. As the statues come to life, they help the boy understand the truth that illuminates Christmas: God’s light always shines, even in the deepest darkness.
