As humans, it is easy to question God’s existence when everything seems to be going wrong in life. When there is suffering, it feels like God is punishing us. That couldn’t be further from the truth. During challenges in life, we need to lean more on God.

Abdullah, a viewer from Iraq, experienced several years of struggles. During this time, he questioned life to the point where he felt he no longer wanted to live.

Abdullah shared, “I have doubts about the existence of everything, and I don’t think anyone knows what lies on the other side of death. Where are God and Jesus in everything that has happened to me? I have been suffering for 3 years. I lost my family, my work, my health, my wife, my son, my mind, my home, and my country. I no longer have anything. I became an alcoholic and drug user to try to forget my pain. I think about killing myself every day. Where is God?”

Although Abdullah was experiencing much pain, he reached out to SAT-7 for hope. “I want to pray to God to help me,” he said.

Thanks to the SAT-7 Viewer Support Team, Abdullah came to know Christ and accepted Him as his Savior. Now, Abdullah hungers for a deeper relationship with Jesus and wants to know more about his new faith.

“I want to know and read more. I realize that nothing bad will happen if I rely on God because I felt every word I read in the Psalm. I thank you very much for the amount of information you have provided me.”

Viewers like Abdullah come to know Jesus hearing the Gospel shared on SAT-7. Please pray that more people in the Middle East and North Africa can experience God the way Abdullah experienced.
